Luke Hirtzel was born in Effingham, Illinois. He grew up playing sports and enjoying the outdoors. In 2005, he graduated from Hannibal-LaGrange College with a degree in Criminal Justice. Luke began working part-time for Janes Surveying in 2006, while also attending the Missouri Sheriff’s Association Police Academy. After graduating from the academy, Luke decided to pursue a full-time job as a surveyor, and is currently working on getting his Professional Land Surveyor license. He lives in Hannibal with his wife, Ashley, and three children. When he’s not surveying, Luke likes to hunt, fish, and watch University of Oklahoma Sooner football. He is a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
