John Janes, a licensed surveyor since 1990, founded Janes Surveying, Incorporated in 1997. In 2008, John sold the company to his son, Jason. John still consults and helps in the office or field when needed. John currently holds the position of Marion County Surveyor. He lives in Hannibal with his wife, Nancy. They have five children and ten grandchildren. Together, they spend their time volunteering with missions and have a special interest in building new churches. They have spent their winters working on churches in Arizona or Florida and look forward to many more years of doing the same.
